Congratulations! You’ve just finished 30 days of reading the Bible. Believe it or not, that’s more than most people have ever done. And now that you are done, you might be wondering what are the next steps. We have a couple of suggestions that you might want to consider.

Your Next Reading Plan

First of all, there is plenty of Bible left to read. If you’d like to keep reading, we’d recommend our 91 day New Testament Bible plan be the next one you read through. In that plan, you will reread some of the content you’ve already done in the past 30 days. That is fine because repetition is the key to learning.

Additionally, you will get a deeper look at the life and ministry of Jesus as you read the other two Gospel books, Matthew and Luke. Matthew was a tax collector who became a disciple of Jesus. Luke was a doctor who wrote his book after the events of Jesus’ life had unfolded. Both bring their unique perspective and detail to the narrative of Jesus’ life.

Additionally, you’ll get to read the very important book of Acts which describes the development and growth of the early church. It’s a crucial book for understanding how God worked through the lives of Jesus’ disciples to start a new movement. Plus, you will be introduced to Saul (who later became known as Paul), the greatest missionary who ever lived and who is responsible for much of the writings of the New Testament.

A More Personal Step

Maybe you came to the 30 Days for Seekers reading plan because you weren’t sure about faith and the whole following Jesus thing. We know committing your life to follow Jesus is a big deal, one you shouldn’t take lightly. You should be commended for your courage in reading the Bible and having an open mind. Again, that’s more than most people have done.

At this point, you still may not have all your questions or doubts answered. That’s OK. Even those who have been following Jesus for 50 years don’t know everything there is to know about God, Jesus and the Bible. You don’t have to know it all to follow Jesus.

So if you’re ready to make that commitment and change your life forever, we’d love to help. Click on the following link and you’ll be redirected to a page that explains how to become a Jesus follower: How Can I Follow Jesus?
