Irresistible is for  anyone who cares deeply about the church’s future. There once was a version of our faith that was practically irresistible. Today, however, we preach, teach, write, and communicate as if nothing in history has changed. We still believe the old mantras that if “The Bible says it,” that settles it. It’s time to slow down and reflect on much of what we’re doing. It’s time to  consider the faith modeled by our first-century brothers and sisters who had no official Bible, no status and little chance of survival. Did they know something we don’t? Why was their faith so compelling, so defensible, so irresistible? You are invited to embrace the version of faith that, against overwhelming odds, sparked a series of events that resulted in the most significant and extensive cultural transformation the world has ever seen. Its a version of faith the church must embrace today if it wants to be salt and light in an increasingly dark world.
