Strong Mothers, Strong Sons: Lessons Mothers Need to Raise Extraordinary Men

$13.49

Boys in today’s culture face unique challenges and pressures, some of which lead them to push away from their mothers. In Strong Mothers, Strong Sons, Meg Meeker, M.D. calls on her 30 years of experience as a pediatrician to share the secrets every mother needs to know to raise extraordinary young men. You learn how to: exercise courage and be bold when directing boys; express love in healthy ways so boys learn to love and respect women; show boys the value of hard work, community service and a well-developed inward life; keep them from falling into natural boy traps; survive when moments get really tough and mom’s ways of communicating only fuel the fire for the son to walk away.  If you do your job right, your son will become the man you want him to be.
