“The Challenge of Motherhood”

Text: Proverbs 31:10-31

Intro:

Someone has said that there are three words that fall with a tender accent upon our ears when we hear them, These three words are, heaven, home and mother. I have noted that even among the irreligious, whose life pattern is not what we’d like it to be, that there is a certain awesome respect for mothers.

The writer of Proverbs says: “her price is far above rubies.” What is the challenge then, at comes to motherhood on a day like ours?

Body of Sermon:

1. Believe that by nature your have the most unique and sacred position than anyone else in the world.
The throne of motherhood upon which you sit is greater than she who ruleth a nation from a castle of splendor. You are potential queens.

In the story of the birth of Jesus, we read; “That which is conceived in Mary was of the Holy Spirit.” That, in poetic language, is the meaning of every birth. The Holy Spirit overshadowes all motherhood, and everything born of woman is holy…
