About the Author

Alan Gotthardt is a nationally recognized investment advisor who has spent nearly three decades focused on the intersection of faith and money. As an author, advisor, and speaker, he has helped thousands of families across the income spectrum manage their money for lasting results. Alan is Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of TriniD, where he focuses on out-of-favor companies and contrarian themes in the global public markets as well as early-stage private ventures. Formerly the president of Brightworth, Alan was part of the leadership team that built the company into a nationally recognized wealth management firm. He has been listed in Robb Report Worth magazine as one of the Nation’s 100 Most Exclusive Wealth Advisors. Alan earned undergraduate and graduate business degrees at the University of Georgia. He also completed the IMCA Investment Analyst Program at the Wharton School and is a Certified Investment Management Analyst and a Certified Public Accountant. Alan serves a number of nonprofit organizations on a volunteer basis. He and his wife, Melissa, have three children.
